If you're struggling to wake up to an alarm I recommend getting one of those sunrise alarm clocks that simulate the sun coming up in the morning. I use to really struggle to wake up in the winter before I got one and now honestly they have changed my life. You can get ones that wake you up to nature sounds so it's a lot more peaceful than a normal alarm clock sound which I absolutely hate. The light makes your brain wake up and then the noise tells you it's finally time to start getting up.

Nah I’m done with Sims 4 and their packs. I’m not giving EA anymore money until I know Sims 5 will be as good as Sims 2+3 combined. All these EA game changers will always promote these backs because if they don’t they won’t be a game changer anymore. Yikes.

YES QUEEN, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE LIKE NT CREATORS, BE ND, BE AUTISTIC, BE YOU!!! As a fellow ND (Autistic, ADHD, etc) having you, someone who is also ND, actually having someone like me making content? Makes me so happy, especially because I WANT to make content too... but I feel like I can’t because of the NT expectations to pump out content... you know?

What I do to get up (which between autism and cfs is really hard) is put a bunch of alarms starting a couple hours before I have to get up and program then from longer to shorter intervals. I start with one, and then an hour later the second alarm, the third 30 min after, then 15 min (normally I put two of this) and if I need it I add one or two of 5-10 min (I add this ones in the morning and then just relax until the next alarm goes off)

I'm not autistic so i can never understand fully about what your saying but 7 years ago i got diagnosed with M.E (CFS). My whole life got turned upside. I couldn't wash myself, i couldn't walk with out help. It was so debilitating and i fought so hard to be how i was but i just made myself more ill. It took me 5 years to actually realise I need to listen to my body and I need to not try and be want everyone wants me to be. If i need to say no I'm struggling today then i will. There is no point in pushing yourself to be something your not able to be. You will always be a disappointment to yourself if you do. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Love you Jess

Im just going to have to accept that mentally there is no point about being mad that i wont be able to keep up with others because i just got to take another path, ya know what i mean? As a fellow autistic person, I firstly want to say that I absolutely love whenever you call something your special interest, and also, I'm so glad you're in a better headspace now regarding your content and NOsection and all that. I can't even imagine how I'd handle that kind of pressure, but I hope you know you have all the support from us, and that we only want you to do things that bring you joy on your channel! And WHEN it brings you joy. That one's important too. Also! I'm a total greenie to podcasts, Andrew and Garrett's "Sweet Boys" were the first one I actually got into, and I thought to myself like, huh, I would like a lot more of my NOsectionrs to do podcasts. I'm honestly SO excited about the idea of you having a podcast. I would love that. Truly.

On waking up early - I use a Lumie wake-up clock and it’s the best thing I ever bought. It simulates a sunrise and you can play bird sounds or waves or whatever. It has sunset functions too, so you can use it to help you fall asleep. It’s really dark in the morning where I live, so it’s helped me a LOT 💕

I found your channel the other day and have been binging... then came onto this one and you talk about being Autistic and it made me proper tear up. I am Autistic too, was diagnosed a couple of years ago, so still finding my feet and hoping to start my NOsection channel again this year and also want to start a podcast but am super nervous. I’m not doing it for views/listeners but for my own confidence building etc. If you ever wanted to chat about it or collab (I’m aware this is very unlikely 😂) but would be happy to any way. So just wanted to say THANK YOU for being so real and talking so openly about it because it’s helped me realise I’m not the only person that has those frustrating feelings of pushing yourself too much to keep up with what you think Neurotypical people can achieve. Anyway. I’ll stop wittering now (my top skill next to bullshitting my way through life 💃🏻) but just wanted to say thank you and keep being awesome! 💕

Seriously, this entire talk was needed, not just to help you get it off your chest, but it was nice to hear too.. I often find it REALLY really hard to just go and do necessities like work and so... And I force myself to work to the point of breakdowns cause what I find hard, people find easy and laugh at the fact.. but it's not their fault cause they don't understand! But I think eventually we've all got to realise that that can be okay with the given help! But also you mentioned Beamish and now I realised how much I miss it- I usually hate it cause it was always the school trip where we were forced to dress like the period LMAO and the walking up and down those hills- madam I play computer games sitting like a shrimp I don't have the d r i v e.... But now that I can't have it I want it so bad omfg- I think I also just want the fish and chips tho and see the horses and pigs again... I've seen it so many times I just want the basics again-

For forcing yourself out of bed, the app Alarmy is good. Horrifically annoying alarm and you can set it so that it only goes off when you take a photo of a particular thing - I choose my fridge because then I have to go downstairs and bam, already up. Make sure you're still getting your 8 hours though, otherwise you'll be wrecked after a week and spend ages afterwards recovering haha
